Thirteenth Division's Barracks

The first thing you notice as you step forth onto the territory of the thirteenth division, is a sense of tranquility. Soft white buildings, with a mellow brown roofing greet you warmly as you meander your way through. Nearby, you can see a glittering pond, teaming with koi fish of all colors, milling about in the clear waters.

Bushes line the walkway, each one dappled with little white flowers around their base, giving the appearance of an untimely snowfall. You breathe out a long, gentle sigh, and relax your stance as you approach the closest building. The door gives way easily, and you step onto the soft mat inside.

Quiet hallways, lined with doors imply a secluded, easygoing lifestyle. No one seems to be around at the moment, and you take it upon yourself to appreciate the silence. You make a mental note to yourself, that these grounds may indeed, be a nice place for future meditation.

I smile as i enter the grounds of the thirteenth division. "Now if i recall correctly.." closes eyes and momentarally a layout of the HQ is formed in my head.

The captains quarters is here.. the laundry room here and captains quarters here "i know where i need to go" i open my eyes and enter the building.

once inside i look around and walk upstairs to the captains quarters. Once in i go to the closet and see several outfits and i pick one from the back row and take it with me glad that the room is empty since captain is in Human world. i place the outfit in the locker of a member who's name i dont know and leave the head quarters.

I near the captains quarters with my report. "Sir i delt with the hollow."
I look at him and try to alalyze him .

"You wished to speak with me as well am i correct sir?" As my eyes follow each out likne of him i sence his power like an oak strong and firm and i know hes strong very strong carefull to hide his weaknesses. This man is my captain hmm? very well i am impressed by his stature but i dont feel a very welcoming presence now.

I lok around and realize that the calmness of the 13th divisions hq is gone and replaced by a still ness. I dont like the feeling i am getting here..something is wrong. I feel the lack of happyness and can see the determinaion in the capains eyes and realize..for the first time.. im the one being measured.

The Captain of Thirteenth Division remained silent for a bit, probing his unseated squad member. He's known about his little adventure with placing the outfit in a member's closet. The reiatsu trace left on the outfit was feint, but it was from this member nonetheless.

"Yes, I've called you here for a reason. It seemed someone has snuck inside my Captain room and stole one of my expensive outfits." The captain stopped for a second, and carefully picked out a strategy of approach. "Do you happen to know anything about this?"

As he said the last sentence, he waved to the unseated squad member before him, known as Ajiro Minamoto, to follow him outside in the courtyard of the Thirteenth Barracks.

Stopping in the middle of a field of grass, The Captain turned to face Ajiro. "Do you know the symbol and meaning of our Division?", he asked the unseated member. "The Snowdrop our symbol, Hope the meaning of our Division. I have high hopes for all my members, Ajiro. I have hope for you as well."

Slowly changing his pose into a battle pose, the Captain resumed his conversation. "However, I would like to see if my hope in you isn't misplaced. You've stolen property of a Captain. Normally that would result in being thrown into The Nest of Maggots, the prison. However, I'll give you a chance. Prove to me, that you're worth hoping in, and I will not report it to the court."

The last words seemed to come from nowhere, as The Captain vanished from the place he was just standing. He reappeared from the left side of Ajiro, just to disappear once more, and appear straight before Ajiro. "Don't disappoint me."

"Never swing a blade unless you're sure it's the right thing to do, Ajiro", the Captain spoke as he noticed Ajiro swung his zan at a different spot than where The Captain was. "False hope will lead you nowhere. Have faith in your own abilities."

He then unsheathed his Zanpakutō and swung it down against Ajiro's blade, keeping it locked against the ground. "Show me your abilities, show them with determination. Show me you can make people believe in you. trust their hopes on you."

He then put one foot on Ajiro's Zanpakutō. "Be careful". The Captain aimed his hand with open palm to Ajiro's chest. "Hadō #1, Shō!"

The Captain remained emotionless. "Bakudō #39, Enkosen!" The Shield appeared before the Captain and blocked the two incoming spells, as the shield didn't even seem to give way. With his foot firmly on Ajiro's zan, the Captain dispelled the shield.

"You've lost your sword, Kidō won't work on me. Do you have any hope left? Do you have the strength in your heart to overthrow this Despair?", The Captain said, with a firm tone in his voice. "Hadō #4, Byakurai!"

The bolt of lightning charged quickly as The Captain aimed just before the area where Ajiro was. The Captain assumed this would halt his advance, and make him see that reaching the zan isn't the only way to retrieve it.

*as he ground exploded before him he shunpoed on to the lerger rofp fragments dashing from one to the next it a zig zag motion and pushes off the last one.

Im my mind a voice calls to me faintly. I hear words that seem to have no form or shape and seem not to me my voice. I throw a punch towards captain hoping that his skils hand to hand lacked where his kido and speed didnot.

With my other hand i aim at him and breath deeply "Bakudo #3 Geki."
A red beam of energy forms in the sky and begins to shine where u are.

The Captain blocked the punch with the same hand which he used to fire the spell, and jumped backwards when Ajiro started to fire another spell, leaving Ajiro's zan in his reach.

"You seem to have hope, though is it strong enough, i wonder", The Captain tested as he held his zanpakutō ready. Shunpoing to Ajiro, he tried to slash from uptop.

Not much time given to Ajiro. His zanpakutō on the ground, with so few reaction time to grab it, it would be almost impossible for an unseated member to even grab it, let alone block The Captain's attack with it. Only the purest of hope can give him the chance he needs.

The sudden Shikai made Captain break his usual emotionless face, showing a slight surprise on it. When he noticed flames started forming, and Ajiro using some sort of ability, he Shunpo'd back, to notice part of his clothes have been singed.

Stopping his attack, The Captain sheathed his Zanpakuto and took a relaxed stance as he smiled. "Impressive..." His face showed traces of interest, and amusement. "Impressive indeed. It seems that your hope is indeed a pure one."

Turning around, The Captain started walking back to his office. "Congratulations on gaining your shikai, Ajiro Minamoto." Stopping his walk to the office, he turned his head and smiled. "Oh, and, as of today, You've gained a seat in the Division. Be sure to use it well." With that said, The Captain Shunpo'd out of sight.
