Zanpakuto Name: Hanabi (Fireworks)

Zanpakuto Description: The sword is about two meters in maximum length (one meter in normal) , two-handed, and slightly curved with blue handle.

Shikai/Mask Removal: Gekido!(Rage) Umi no Hanabi (Sea of Fireworks)
Kaoru's sword is made up of his reserve reiatsu. Upon using the initial release he will recieve about half of his reiatsu (in return his sword will be half of its length)
Being Kido (binding type) as his main arms in battle he usually combined it with his own fireworks (somewhat like bombs) and strings
In the initial release he will have a pair of gloves where he will put his reiatsu in something he will hold and he will use it as a bomb (it's like putting Kouru's spirit and making them explode)
A code (Boom) is used by Kaoru in order for it to explode.

Bankai/Resurrection: Keiyo! (Fly) Tonbo Hanabi (Dragonfly Fireworks)

The other half of the sword will be consumed as he will recieve half of his original reiatsu
He's eyeglass will change into a tracking type ( the target should be locked first) it gives him a 180 degree eyesight of the target. The only time his reiatsu will depleted is if he hold something and use it to hit the target (it is like homing bombs which will reach the target)

Appearance: Black haired guy above shoulder wearing eyeglasses with a brown jacket and boots

Personality:
He is well known to have a good intellectual ability but it only arises at times when he wants. Good at planning ahead before doing things but somewhat slow in acting if it is not according to plan.
He wants to discover new things rather than improving what he already have. He have hard time trusting others but still is still not distant to new person.

Backstory:
Outside Soul Society there was once a rivalry for the greatest fireworks display at the end of the year. It was Shiba family against the Hiramatsu family. This tradition was passed generations to generations until the last of the Hiramatsu who prefer to lived alone has to passed it to someone. Along the way he saw a little boy who was severly wounded, he bought it home at treated him as his own son. He decided to name it Koaru. The old man seeing a potential for Kaoru specially in creativity decided to teach everything he knew about fireworking to the boy but the unexpected came when a hollow attacked Kaoru but the old man shielded himself sacrificing his life for Kaoru.
The death of man he treated as his father motivates Kaoru to study books on ways how to help human in terms of their health.
With the creativity he have and the skills he acquired from his father and books of medicine he decided to be a shinigami not only for others but also for his benefits. To know who what he's true identity is, as day passed by he found out in the acedemy that his true parents( who are well known to be strategist) died in a war along the way.

the differences between your strengths and weaknesses are too great. you need to have at least an equal amount of points on weaknesses as on strengths, if not more.

Also, your bankai needs to be a bit more descriptive. (for instance, characteristics of homing ability, how fast the homing bombs are, the reach of the homing bombs, around how many you can use.)
