The Wandering giant

One of many, though still different than most, A Gillian makes his way through the outskirts of trees inside Menos forest. Destroying the tiny bushes that flourish the grounds of the forest when he walks, he sometimes stops to feel around for the reiatsu source he's been following for some time now.

Walking up a hill, the Gillian spots the source of his long journey: An injured Gillian laying helpless on the ground. Something strong must've attacked this hollow, maybe an Adjuchas, maybe something else. As the Gillian spots his hunter, he screams of agony, though the screams are followed by the Gillian hunter's Instantaneous Cero, diminishing whatever life the injured Gillian had left to nothing more than a dead hollow.

As the Gillian approaches the now deceased Gillian, he starts absorbing its soul, revitalizing his strength and stamina.
When there's nothing left of the deceased Gillian, the hunter Gillian let out a scream of its own, announcing that the Gillian known as Genesis Jenova has made its way into Menos Forest.

Now without a goal, Genesis starts to wander around aimlessly, venturing deeper inside the Menos Forest. Hoping he will find more preys to feast upon, he feels around for any reiatsu sources, though notices he's alone in this part of the Forest.

Taking this seemingly quiet part of his Gillian lifespan to stop and rest, as his mind begins to use what intelligence it has to come up with a new plan.

As hours passed, the number of rejected plans grew larger by the minute. Out of sheer rage, he fired a Cero Viga in front of him, hitting the enormous trees that overshadow the Gillian's size.
A small dent in the bark testifies the strength and durability of these trees, as they have to be strong to survive in this harsh nature. Genesis seemed annoyed that he couldn't of destroyed a tree, but spared his energy for when it was needed. For now, he started walking into a random direction, hoping to come across something to quench his neverending thirst for souls.

The little hollow didn't even expect the Cero Artimaña, as it suddenly disappeared from his sight, and hit him in the back. A small squeak signified the end of this hollow's life, and a small meal for Genesis Jenova.

So far, the random travelling didn't pay off that much. Most of the times, the little encounters he made with other hollows ended up in little hollows running away, or other Gillians. Gillians amongst eachother don't have a tendency to attack eachother, except if the opposing Gillian has been weakened, like the one Genesis hunted down earlier.

After finishing his meal, Genesis' little brain told him to instead of running around aimlessly, he should have a goal. The next thing his brain would need to unravel, was what that goal needs to be.

Keep searching for hollows to devour? No, will take too long.
Leak out your own reiatsu to lure hollows? No, stronger hollows might come after me.
Move through the Forest, to the white palace that exists beyond these trees? Possible...
The last idea made Genesis roar contently, as he agreed with it.

The White Palace was interesting, alluring, for Genesis. he wondered what he would find there. Now deciding to move though The Menos Forest, he had a goal, and started to walk towards the feint reiatsu sources the White Palace gives off.

Firing off an Instantaneous Cero to clear his path from small trees, he made himself a way to the Palace. Imaginations of what he would find there filled up his mind. Picking up his pace, he started his long journey.

He luckily hid his reiatsu quick enough, to not alert the group of Gillians in front of him. It seems that they're out hunting for lone Gillians, or maybe even Adjuchas. The Gillians themselves don't seem too strong, though when working together, they can be quite a fierce force to oppose.

Suddenly, Genesis came up with an ingenious idea to pick them off one at a time, without revealing his presence too much, though it will be difficult to hide his reiatsu at the same time.

Taking his time, and making sure he doesn't reveal himself by letting his reiatsu be revealed, he started charging a Cero Artimaña and fired it in a direction south of the group.
Making the Cero Artimaña disappear and re-appear somewhere else, he made the Cero come flying from a different direction than where Genesis is, straight at one of the Gillians.

The Gillians fired their Ceros blindly towards the direction were Genesis' Cero Artimaña came from. They seemed to not have noticed his real whereabouts, as they're now all fixated upon the direction of the Cero Artimaña.

Charging yet another Cero Artimaña, Genesis made sure to keep his whereabouts hidden, so he could pick them off one by one.
This time, the Cero Artimaña Genesis fired, hit the same Gillian he hit before, and to his content, it fell down.

The Gillians now left standing seized this opportunity to try and eat their own hunting comrade, though it soon turned into a quarrel of their own as to who's allowed to take the first bite.

Genesis bided his time, using his intelligence to his advantage as he waited until the Gillians started killing eachother off.
And kill eachother, they did.

As the fight of the last two Gillians ended, Genesis took his opportunity to fire an Instantaneous Cero to the last Gillian of the pack. The gillian screamed of rage, now that he found out where the elusive attacker was, though it was already too late. With the wounds he got during the fight with his fellow Gillians, the Instantaneous Cero was enough to knock him down on the ground, renderring him uncapable to fight.

Genesis noticed most of the Gillians were still alive, though incapicitated. He never liked the idea of eating live food, which means the Gillians should cease to move. He figured a Cero Viga would do the trick of killing them all in one go. As he charged the Cero, the eyes of the still living Gillians grew full of despair.

The meal was almost too much for Genesis, as the 5 Gillians together proved to be quite the amount of energy. The meal had 2 courses, with an interval of an hour, to ensure Genesis could eat everything. Now that he swallowed down the last bit of energy from the last Gillian, Genesis felt full of energy, and ready to take on any type of opponent.

Drugged by the vast amount of energy, He fired a Cero Sierra to one of the trees. It was a sloppy attack, though much to Genesis' surprise, it cut reasonably deep inside the huge tree. Maybe this Cero would be best to use for piercing tactics, just like his Cero Horadar.

Having left out a bit of energy from his system, the blur of overdose of energy left, and he was ready to walk towards the White Palace again.

His pace seemed more energetic and quicker, with the recent meal. He needed the energy, since the Forest seemed to get thicker by the mile. Firing an Instantaneous Cero to a small tree, he cleared his path to resume his march once more.

This has happened numerous times already, and if it would keep on going like this, it'll be difficult for Genesis to move around, with his oversized Body as a Gillian.

He noticed he accidentally hit a small hollow that was hiding behind the tree. The unfortunate thing picked out a very bad hiding spot. Genesis didn't seem to mind though as he started to eat it, a little snack extra won't hurt anyone, apart from the little hollow.

For some reason, as if the Forest listened to Genesis' silent rants, the Forest made place for an open area. This place seemed to be quiet and peaceful, serene. A small river flowing through the open field, soft hills coloring the relief of the landscape, lone trees, providing a nice, cool shade.

It's almost as if Hueco Mundo ceased to exist in this area, and a little paradise opened up for the Hollows that gather here.

And there are numerous Hollows here. Ranging from Minions to Adjuchas, even one Vasto Lord. Though, for some reason, the tranquility of this place seemed to calm the Hollows, and allow them to live in harmony. it seemed that this place had a magical characteristic. That this place has more than just a nice view to it. Whatever it was, Genesis decided to rest here for a bit, and let his mind wander around.

Leaving the open area proved to be quite a difficult task. It seemed almost as if the place didn't want you to go. After a closer inspection of the hollows in that area, it seemed as if some of them were there for a long time now. No wounds whatsoever on their bodies, which is very rare in the savage world of Hueco Mundo.

Eventually, his rage that he couldn't leave lead Genesis to fire a Instantaneous Cero in a random direction. The reiatsu released from that Cero seemed to have cancelled off a certain trance from his mind.

Now walking to his destination once more, Genesis' affection for the place diminished by the minute, as he made more distance between himself and that oasis.

Genesis couldn't believe what he saw. In front of him, the exact same Oasis appeared out of nowhere. The same hollows, the same river, trees, the light hills. This is the third time already it happened, and he just couldn't believe it.

Walking over to a group of smaller hollows, he noticed he was hungry. The confusion lead to anger, which lead to him quickly losing energy. Those small hollows looked like a nice meal.

As he started to charge a Cero Viga, the hollows didn't even budge. They seemed to be in the same trance-like state Genesis was in, when he entered the oasis for the first time. For some reason, it didn't affect him anymore. When he discharged the Cero, and killed the group of minions, all hell came down...

The hollows suddenly broke down in a rage. Ceros flying, claws ripping, Feet stomping. The scenery went from a beautiful oasis to a huge battlefield within seconds.

Trying to get out of the battlefield, Genesis tried to hold his own, by blocking the flying Ceros with an Especho Cero. The defensive Cero showed to have trouble holding off the numerous Ceros, though luck had it those Ceros were weak.

Suddenly, a Vasto Lord stood before him, charging his Cero. Genesis knew that his Especho Cero wouldn't survive a Cero of that strength. The Vasto lord widened it's jaw, ready to fire...

The blast changed course on the last second, as the Vasto Lord got bitten by a smaller Adjuchas. The Cero, bristling with energy, missed Genesis by an inch, as he tried to sidestep despite his huge appearance.

The Vasto Lord changed his target from Genesis to the Adjuchas, giving Genesis the time needed to escape. As he made his way to the edge of the forest, he turned around to look at the ongoing battle. He couldn't believe what he saw.

The oasis, a beautiful place before, now littered with dozens of bodies. The Vasto Lord that was fighting the Adjuchas just now, already dead on the ground, overwhelmed by a number of smaller minions. A quick glance over to the battlefield made Genesis see the potential of what just had happened: A feast, unimaginable, even by hollow standards. He prepared himself to kill off the few remaing Adjuchas, that were fighting eachother for the feast now.

the two remaining Adjuchas seemed to plan sharing the huge meal, since they turned their backs to eachother, and walked to the nearest meal. Genesis knew he had to act now, before they could replenish on the souls.

Charging a Cero Viga, Genesis aimed at the nearest Adjuchas. It seemed to not notice him. After some tense seconds, Genesis discharged it, and the Cero Viga made it's way to the Adjuchas.
It looked up to it, and used an Especho Cero to defend itself.
Genesis knew he had to break through, and kill it off, since 2 Adjuchas are too much to handle.

The defensive Cero the Adjuchas used started to crack, as Genesis pushed on, trying to maintain the Cero Viga. Just when Genesis had to give up on maintaining the beam, it cracked. Quickly before the Adjuchas could recover, Genesis sent in an Instantaneous Cero in the blast, to end the Adjuchas' life. Now only one opponent remained.

The blast of Genesis' first Instantaneous Cero didn't even subdue before he fired another one at the now alerted Adjuchas. It evaded it easily, and started charging a cero of its own.
Quickly trying to counter it, Genesis used an Especho Cero, making sure to make it solid and strong.

The Adjuchas fired, the Cero made its way to Genesis, and Genesis kept his cool, making sure the Especho Cero held. The blast was huge to Hollow standards, and the Especho Cero started cracking severely. Genesis used this small timeframe to step aside. Just in time as well. The Especho Cero broke, and the remaining part of the Cero flew right past where Genesis stood just a second ago.

Not wasting any time, Genesis located the Adjuchas, and knew he had to use a fast Cero, so he couldn't evade.
He then had an idea, and hoped it would work, as the Adjuchas started to get close to Genesis.

The first Instantaneous Cero missed, as the Adjuchas sonido'd sideways, before resuming his sprint. The second Instantaneous Cero missed as well, as the Adjuchas jumped up. Now aiming to strike a slash with its claws on Genesis' face, it had to work.

Genesis started charging, the Adjuchas stretched its arm, with razorsharp claws attached to its hand. The Cero took shape, as the Adjuchas roared, ready to triumph and eat all of the tasty hollows. The Cero Horadar Was ready to fire, just before the Adjuchas swung its arm down.

The little beam went straight through the Adjuchas' neck. A mixed expression of rage, confusion, and fear appeared on its face. The arm, full of strength moments ago, now weakening. The adjuchas dying, even before it hit the ground. Genesis Won.

The souls were delicious. so full of energy, so much. Genesis needed this energy to replenish himself from the battle, but this much, it was enough to make him drunk of the souls.

He fired a Cero Viga out of content, and an Instantaneous Cero after it, making the two ceros explode against eachother. He then ate some more hollows.

...Something in his stomach felt weird, though he didn't notice it quick enough, the drunk rage he obtained from the many souls made him careless. He kept on eating, and the feeling kept on growing. When it happened, it was already too late..

The new power he obtained was enormous. He had gained the ability to Sonido back once more, and another Cero technique as well. What's even more important, is that he gained the ability to talk again.

His intelligence seemed to have increased as well, it was almost as if blockades were now gone, and he reinvented himself, upgraded. The joy of it all felt too good to be true, as he Sonido'd for the first time again in a very long time. Right when the Sonido hit it's peak, he used Luna Paso Cero to increase his speed even further, going quicker than a Sonido would bring him.

Landing against a tree with his feet, he pushed himself off again, and rolled on the ground to come to a halt. He wondered... Looking at a big tree, he felt like he should try it out. Maybe this time he would succeed.

Charging a Cero Sierra, he grinned full with promises. Last time he attacked a tree like this, he could barely scratch it. He wondered now as an Adjuchas, would he be able to destroy it.

He threw the Cero Sierra from his hand held above his head, and watched it make its way to the tree. A sound, similar to a chainsaw slicing through a tree was heard, as Genesis fought to maintain the special characteristics of the Cero Sierra.

As it bit itself deeper and deeper into the wood, the Cero was harder to maintain. It seemed that he needed to work more on this technique, would he be able to maintain it's form like that. Though for now, this would do. The tree started moving, the trunk being cut almost 3/4th. Nevertheless, it was enough to make the tree tip over. Though, one thing Genesis did forget. The tree was now going to fall right on top of him. Quickly Sonidoing away, he managed to evade the tree's big and long branches. "Phew", Genesis said, for the first time as an Adjuchas. "That was pretty close."

"Alright, time to get out of this darn Forest", Genesis said to himself, as he leaped up in the air. Emitting a delicate amount of Reiatsu under his feet, he noticed he could stand in mid-air. "Well, this is convenient", he said whilst grinning.

When he was above the treetops, he could see the White Palace partially. Much of it was still covered behind the treetops in the distance, though with Sonido and no trees in his way, he can easily get there with no troubles whatsoever.

He started his long Sonido journey to the White Palace. it seemed to get closer and closer. Suddenly, he remembered. His goal was to get there, but then what?

After the first question he asked himself, there came a second. What are these holes in the palm of his hands. He remembered the Cero Energy came outside these holes when he created the Cero Sierra. Would it be an outlet for his Cero Energy?

Stopping his advance, he suddenly became interested. He -knew- there was something about these holes, but what? Sonidoing to a small open spot in the forest, he held out one hand with open palm, and started charging a Cero Viga. The energy started pouring out of this hole in his palm. Firing it to some trees, he tried something else.

He gazed to a treetop, and before his eyes, he fired a Cero Artimaña. This little test proved that he was still able to fire Ceros from any place of his body, something he takes pride off as well, since most hollows couldn't do that. He knows he's very proficient with Ceros, and makes the best use of that fact.

As the trees were smouldering from the Ceros fired at them, Genesis tried something else. He held his hands with palms open against eachother, aimed and started Charging another Cero Viga. This time, he would test out if he could give more strength to Ceros if he used both of his palms together.

Firing it to a treetop, he noticed the huge amount of power coming from it. Bracing himself not to lose his pose, he kept on firing it. 5 seconds....8 seconds... After 11 Seconds, the Viga stopped working. It left devastation on ground level, and a more than content Genesis up in the air.

Not only did its power increase, but he could make the Viga last longer as well, even if it were just 2 seconds. This means his profiency is even better than before. Knowing this, Genesis came to the conclusion that it has to be a ranged type perk, something he didn't mind at all.

Still, it felt as if there was something else. Merely increasing Cero potential isn't what the true power is... He tried to scry himself, see if he could find answers.

He felt reiatsu circling around in the holes. it seemed to gather reiatsu even before a Cero will be charged. This probably explains why the Ceros seem to fire quicker, and with more power to it.

Reiatsu, huh?.. Why would it do that? Does it mean something?
He tried to feel the reiatsu in his holes, but instead, moved it. He moved the reiatsu in his arms... He knew he was onto something now.

He spent minutes moving the reiatsu inside the holes located in the palm of his hands. He also seemed to be able to compress the reiatsu into a dense form. Plus he learned, that he could send the reiatsu out of his palms, and the speed of which was very fast, almost as fast as a Cero Horadar.

He wondered if he could combine these three little facts he found out. He started compressing the Reiatsu in a sphere like ball. He then added more reiatsu, and compressed that as well, until there was no more room for the reiatsu.

He aimed his hand to the ground, and released the reiatsu out of the hole. What then happened took him a few seconds to realize. Suddenly, the sky was down, and the ground was up, though the trees became smaller and smaller, until a certain point, and everything tilted. By then, he knew he was flung up in the air by the major force of the blast. Genesis quickly fixed his fall, and landed in mid-air at the right time. "Well, that was quite the scare."
